Beth Rotteveel, RN, graduated from UC Davis in 1984 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She earned a nursing degree from Sacramento City College in 1986. Beth worked at Mercy hospital in telemetry, and then at Woodland community hospital on the medical/surgical floor. At this point she took a break from nursing to raise her four amazing children.
Beth found her way back into nursing by working in telephone triage in an internal medicine office. For the past several years she has been working with Dr. Hassid performing a variety of roles. At IRH, Beth coordinates the biofeedback, pain management and intravenous nutrient therapy programs.
Beth is an excellent example and model of how to live a balanced life. She feels so gratified by her work because of the results she sees in her patients. Her enthusiasm and passion are always evident.
"I am a witness and messenger to the chronic pain sufferer. I witness creativity, hope, authenticity, increasing awareness, rebuilding of dreams, and regaining power through choice. I am the messenger of practices developed throughout our human existence such as meditation, visualization, breathing exercises, mind-body awareness, and mental observation. I feel honored to hold this space."
