At the Institute for Restorative Health, we understand the relationship between mind, body and spirit and how each element affects another. For this reason, we offer Behavioral Medicine to our patients.
Behavioral Medicine can help individuals reduce stress, lower blood pressure and effectively manage physical or mental obstacles to your health. Our behaviroists on staff will accurately evaluate your current mental state, make recommendations and create exercises to keep your brain working as efficiently as possible. Our nurse can train you in Biofeedback to control your breathing and heart rate which affects your entire composition. This information can then be shared with your other heath professionals to gain a more comprehensive understanding of your needs.
Behavioral Medicine is ideal for individuals who are interested in gaining a better understanding of their current state of mental health, working through challenges or those wanting to their treatment to be more than on just a physical level.
